Welcome to WhisperTyping! This guide will help you get up and running quickly.
1. Download and Install
Download WhisperTyping from whispertyping.com and run the installer.
2. Set Up Your Microphone
Open WhisperTyping Settings and go to the Microphone page. Select your preferred microphone from the list.
3. Configure Your Activation Method
Go to Settings → Activation to configure how you start recording. By default, press CapsLock to toggle recording on/off. You can also set up hold-to-record with modifier keys or enable mouse wheel activation.
4. Start Dictating
Press your toggle key (CapsLock by default) to start recording, speak, then press it again to stop and transcribe. The text will be typed automatically into your active application.
